  Gloria and Chris have created a wonderful little slice of heaven here. The place is a fun and educational way to learn about goats besides a relaxing get away. It's a great mini get a way from the city life and you and your family can do hikes with goats and stay in cabins or airstreams. The vibe is great and my family loved it. A slice of time back to the golden era right here.

  This place is fantastic. We have an excellent time every time we go. Chris and Gloria and not only knowledgeable about the land the animals and creating food from the resources on the farm but they are kind and friendly. My kids had the opportunity to milk the goats and take a walk with them. Furthermore it is a great place to take pictures. I highly recommend this place as a get away from Los Angeles, a family outing or to learn more about living in the great outdoors.

  The question is not 'why hike with goats?", it's 'why haven't you yet?'. This place is just awesome. Gloria, a physicist turned goat farmer, observes the goats as they forage, seeking to create a model for sustainable farming that relies less on hay which requires heavy water usage and more on native plants. The hikes are meandering, moderately paced affairs suitable for all fitness levels. Afterward, you are welcome to claim a spot at one of the picnic tables and have a lunch surrounded by mountain beauty (and occasionally the goats themselves! Who will also tray to partake of your goodies!).
  
  You can also buy milk, goat meat and cajeta when it's available (it's to die for).
  
  Additionally, you can stay overnight on the property in either a small Airstream trailer or the cozy cabin down by the small pond. If you're an early riser you can participate in milking the goats come morning.
  
  Lovely place and highly recommended!

  Gloria was very friendly and knowledgeable. But her goats stole the show! I wanted to take a baby goat home ❤
