Great place to cook food, hike and take a dip in the river. There are plenty of picnic tables, near by restrooms and plenty of parking.

It's nice year around. People need to be cleaner in the bathroom. But fun place to go for a picnic, birthday party, lunch then go across the street to play in the water. Or camp out across the street. Just make sure you get your adventures pass before you go up. $5 a day or $30 a year plus $5 for a second car year pass that's a great ideal. Just remember there's no cell service in this area. You can only use charcoal in the picnic area only during non high fire season check/call the ranger before going up. Propane can be used out side of the picnic area. Fire pass are needed.
