  Great beef sandwiches, rest of menu is quite good as well. Airy and open, with several TV's showing sports, and outside dining during warmer months.

  OVERALL..... Best beef sandwiches!! However, just started new diet and ordered the chicken & spinach bowl (add hot peppers).... 2 thumbs up!!

  Always a great tasting beef sandwich. Have it anyway you like. I like it original, nice and juicy. The soups are to die for. I always get a 'carry-out' soup to go, and enjoy as a midnight snack, or the next day. I've never been a fan of their french fries. They are 'tasteless'. (I wonder if they're REAL?) I wish I could sneak in an order of McDonald's fries to have with my sandwich, ha, ha. You'll love their food, well all except, maybe, the 'tasteless' fries ... Enjoy!

  We went here for lunch while we were in town for work. I had an Italian beef sandwich and it was awesome! Comfortable atmosphere. Great service. Got exactly what we ordered and got it quickly. I would def go here again when I am in town.

  The ordering process is fast and easy. I haven't made up my mind if I like the lack of a board menu. You choose from a paper menu on the way in. I have tried several items because even though they are known for their beef sandwiches, I don't like them. There other food is good and the daily specials are great, like $5 personal pizzas. They have an outside patio. It can get busy during the lunch hour in the summer to the point where there are no tables left.

(815) 534-5700. You can't beat Bona's beef sandwiches...so much flavor! They could use an actual adult outside during rush hour to guide the drive thru traffic Buona makes a good combo. For $8 though I would expect a little more than a few slices of beef and the sausage to be as big as the bread.
