i was reclwety discharged from this place it was a very good place for me to get help at but there were alot of fights
RICA is a great facility, the staff try their best to make the kids feel "normal". The staff truly care about the children there and work as a team to care for them.
The staff showed much concern for my child on a regular basis. RICA holds meeting twice a month to teach the parents/caregivers the life skills that they are also teaching the children.The skills that are taught to the children are real life skills that can be used throughout life with whatever life may bring their way. This is so helpful because the great work that is being done can then be carried into the home to encourage the children to continue their journey on a positive note once they leave this treatment center.I highly recommend RICA Baltimore.
I was there from 16 through 18 and I got to say living there for that long gave me a great deal of help. Even though the staff were hard on u at times I had made great friends and got a lot of help from the staff there. I loved every fun thing there was to do. I was happy to be there . Some of the staff came really helpful.
