  This gem of a location will provide you with a sense of a hidden location as you explore the trails and surrounding nature. The entrance can be easily missed and the gravel parking lot holds only a few spots. The walking paths, lake and trees will provide will keep your attention every step of the way.

  Wonderful place to enjoy nature. Yesterday there were hundreds of Trout lilies and Spring Beauties in bloom.

  This is one of the best forest preserves in the area. It has a beautiful winding ravine. Lots of biodiversity. Also there is a lake; that is tucked away in the back. On certain weekends there are plant sales', as well.

  One of my favorite local nature spots. I work in Long Grove and in the summer I love going here and walking the nature paths. It takes me back to hiking in the woods in Northern Wisconsin where I grew up. A great mid-day escape on those stressful days.
