  About one year ago, I pulled my hip flexor and the pain significantly impacted my ability to exercise. I had a consultation with Rachel but hesitated to continue because she was "out of network" with my insurance. I proceeded with the traditional "big box" physical therapy provider. After 8 sessions and minimal improvement, I decided to go back to Rachel. All I can say is that she is amazing! Within two sessions my pain was significantly better. By the end of 8 sessions, my pain was gone for the first time in over a year.
  More importantly, she instructed me on how to improve my symptoms when they return.

  I would highly recommend Rachel to any friend! There is so much to appreciate about her... I will list some ways: She has a great understanding about how the body works, she's a good communicator, she's friendly, she's organized, she's a good listener, she can help you on your journey to getting well! You won't regret going to see her!

  Went through months of various types of PT to heal diastasis recti over a number of years. Nothing seemed to work completely until I stumbled upon Rachel on Facebook. I have finally found my inner core--maybe for the first time ever! I feel I now have a foundation to work from to achieve my fitness goals, so I no longer have to avoid activities to live pain-free.

  I can't say enough good things about Rachel (The Pilates PT). I've battled with disc/lower back issues for years. Rachel is so knowledgable and really knows how to get you back to your best. What's even more amazing is that she makes sure you know what to do so you can self manage minor flare ups. She gives you the tools for proper alignment and how to use the right muscles so your body works the way it should and you can avoid issues altogether!

  Rachel has been instrumental in my recovery from a micro discectomy surgery in my lower back. I did physical therapy for months after surgery, and it definitely helped me get my strength back, but Rachel took it a different level of recovery for me. Her expertise in Pilates, combined with being a physical therapist gives her a unique perspective and can really understand what's going on in my body, how it's all connecting and uses the Pilates to build on that. She taught me how to really access my inner core, strengthen, protect my back, and gave me confidence to start exercising again without fear or re-injury. Rachel is patient, realistic, will push you appropriately, and is her single most important concern is supporting and transitioning you to meet your goals.
