  I have been a patient at this facility for over 10 years now. I had been on several other Methadone programs, in the Baltimore metropolitan area prior to this one and I had failed to get clean. I guess that I wasn't ready. If you are serious about getting help for your addiction, you WILL get it here. If you aren't serious, then you'll get exactly what you put in to it. Apparently the person who wrote the first review had issues with this program and wanted to get back at them by writing a bad review. I know from personal expirences that what the writer says about New Hope is totally untrue. There are alot of people on this program who are Butt Holes, and when they don't get their way they act out like this. They blame everyone but the one who deserves the blame, and that is themselves. I have done my meetings, and my groups. I am given random breath test and random urinalysis every so often. During my 10 years here, I have passed every one. Now I only have to report to the program every 2 weeks. On the days that I have to report, I receive 13 bottles of methadone to take home. I am once again functioning out in society, and I have a very bright future. I am able to take any problem that I may have to my counsoler, on any day, and at any time, (during their hours of operation) and we talk about it. She has indeed played a very BIG part in helping me to put my life back together. Before I went to New Hope, I had NO Hope. I had been strung out on dope for over 15 years. I had spent the better part of my 30's and 40's in and out of Prison. Everyone that I had previously know in my life, All of my family and All of my friends had given up on my ever changing, and on my ever being able to turn my life around. They had ALL turned their backs on me. I was a complete and total bastard. If you are serious about your recovery I would Highly recommend this treatment program. When you feel like there is NO HOPE... Go to NEW HOPE !!!
