  My wife and I love our apartment! It has WD hookup, plenty of space and tons of great amenities like a gym and a great pool.
  I can't suggest this apartment enough to anyone looking for a quiet place to live in the downtown KC area.

  The staff has been very accommodating and friendly. The apartments are good and the entire area is really pretty. Plus, dog friendly for all breeds. Good distance to plenty of things up north. I enjoy living here!

  My husband and I moved in a while ago and are so happy we decided to live here. We looked allllllll over the KC metro and visited about a dozen other apartment communities and this place just can’t be beat. We wanted to live near downtown KC without sacrificing quality, safety, or our budget. At Walnut Creek, we live less than 10 minutes from downtown, we have walking trails, a pool, a gym, a dog park, a fireplace, a patio, utilities (like dish washer and a washer/dryer hookup in unit, and free basic google fiber)...all for less than $800/month. Can’t be beat. Anywhere.

  The staff is kind, helpful, and responsive. They also don’t have dog breed and size restrictions, which was a massive deciding factor for us. We feel safe and very much at home here. I recommend to everyone looking for the best apartment living in KC!

  I fell in love The Retreat at Walnut Creek the first time I visited the property. The staff is amazing and always ready to help. The property is well maintained. I absolutely loved the pool this summer. I recently just singed a second year lease. I couldn't be happier! Thank you to Courtney and Paul Retreat office staff for always being so pleasant and kind to me.
