  Peaceful, just be sure to bring sunscreen and especially bug repellent. Many voracious mosquitoes.

  Nice trail. Flat, mostly gravel path (one small path is grass). Not much shade. 1 star removed for not having much signage for trail markers. I was expecting a loop of sorts. I left the main lot and turned around when I hit Route 176. Upon returning I did find 2 small loops but neither were marked. I kept walking until I got to the train bridge then turned around again. This really just feels as if it is a part of the Millennium Trail. I completed 15,000 steps (7.5 miles). I did love the cool bridge and the matching footbridge. They have historical significance as they were built by one of the earliest owners (J. Ogden Armour of meat packing fame). There is a handicap accessible port a pottie. NOTE: Ignore GPS, it will try to take you through the Chicago Bears training facility. You need to enter off of Route 43 by Lake Forest Hospit.
