Great place to visit and affordable for the whole family. Very affordable. Excellent living history programming!

Pea patch island is an awesome place to take the family or go by yourself. You can catch a ferry over from Fort Mott. Its 12 dollars per adult. Its well worth it. You can stay for 2 hours or more. Time goes by fast. To see everything I'd stay 4. Bring a picnic lunch. Anything you bring onto the island, you must carry off. Having a book bag is a good idea. Everyone there is a volunteer! They are in character and will tell you about the history of living there back then. The prison is slowing making more repairs to open up other areas in the prison. They now have a gift shop. That sells gifts, candy etc. Its great! I'll upload as many pictures as I can. Definitely gotta visit this place!
